TEMO is a marketplace and a trust layer. It does not take ownership of goods, hold client money, or act as a regulated exchange. What it does is make every important object — participant, lot, certificate, warehouse, order — carry an identity, a verification status, an owner, timestamps and an auditable history.
A listing cannot be moved to sold, and a payment cannot be marked complete, by anything running in a browser. Each transition is declared in a state machine with the roles permitted to trigger it.
Reservations take a row-level lock on the lot, re-read the balance, and commit the decrement with its ledger entry in one transaction. A database constraint backs it up. An automated test fires concurrent requests and proves it.
Every movement — created, reserved, released, consumed, adjusted — is an append-only event carrying the resulting balance. Historical quantities are never overwritten.
Certificates live in a private bucket. Access is checked on every request and a short-lived signed link is minted per view. Every issue and refusal is audited.
The audit trail is hash-chained: each event covers its own contents plus its predecessor. Database triggers reject UPDATE and DELETE on it, on the inventory ledger, and on every decision-history table.
